Granite is an extremely dense, durable igneous rock highly resistant to scratches and heat, making it ideal for busy kitchens. Marble is a metamorphic rock known for its elegant, luminous veining and classic beauty, but it is softer and more porous, making it better suited for bathroom vanities, baking stations, or lower-traffic areas.

Yes. Because natural stone is inherently porous, it requires periodic sealing to protect against stains and moisture. We apply a premium sealer upon installation. We recommend resealing lighter stones annually, while denser granites may require less frequent application. Daily cleaning should simply be done with a mild, pH-neutral stone cleaner.

Absolutely! In fact, we highly encourage it. Since every block of natural stone is 100% unique, the color variations and veining will differ from slab to slab. We invite you to view our inventory to hand-select the exact piece that will become the breathtaking centerpiece of your home.

Natural stones like granite and quartzite are exceptionally heat resistant and can generally withstand hot pots and pans without damage. However, sudden and extreme temperature changes can occasionally cause thermal shock. To ensure the lifetime beauty of your investment, we always recommend using trivets or hot pads.
